A very pretty, recently restored stone village house situated within a very short drive or cycle ride of the picturesque fortified historic town of La Romieu. La Romieu has shops and restaurant, not to mention a 13C Church, where the fascinating guided tour should not be missed. The accommodation has a large well-equipped kitchen with fireplace and wood burner, leading directly to the outside terrace - ideal for al fresco dining. Also on the ground floor is a family bathroom with bath, basin & WC and a twin bedroom. Stone steps lead down to the summer lounge which has French doors leading to the patio and garden.

The narrow wooden staircase leads up to the large sitting room with stone fireplace, beamed ceiling, large comfortable sofas and double aspect windows with views over the countryside. Continuing upstairs to the landing is the Master Bedroom with 4 poster bed and exposed beams. There is also a modern fully tiled bathroom with bath/shower over, basin & WC.

Outside, the garden is mainly lawn with a newly installed private swimming pool (heated on request - supplement) with sunbathing terrace and far reaching views over the hills and woodland beyond. Overall, a lovely village house located in a very quiet setting and in an ideal position for enjoying the many historic sites of the area.
