Lectoure is a cultural centre, designed as a town of Art and History by The French Minister for Culture. There is an archaeological museum and a museum of religious art and local artists regularly host exhibitions. Lectoure has a wide variety of shops selling local produce, cafes and restaurants and a food market every Friday. There is a spa less than 100 yards walk from the property, ideal for pampering and relaxing. There is also an olympic sized swimming pool with views of the Pyrénées a short walk from the property. Lectoure also hold a melon festival in August and an antiques fair in September. Golf, horse-riding, walking and mountain biking are also available nearby.
