Summary

Two beautiful properties set within approximately 66 acres of picturesque green meadows and woodland with panoramic views of the Pyrénées. An impressive four bedroom converted Farmhouse dating from the 16th century and a three bedroom Napoleon III house. Aignan, only 7kms away, with it's 12th century Roman Church, shops and restaurants makes this an excellent holiday destination.

Main House Accommodation:

The downstairs of the main house has an open plan design. The entrance door leads into the pleasant breakfast room with table & chairs. This leads through to the well equipped and high quality kitchen with stainless steel units and Swedish hardwood worktops and double doors open out to the garden. Two steps lead up from the kitchen to the large salon/dining area. The dining area has seating for up to 14 and the salon has a stone fireplace. There is also a further large salon accessed from this area which has 2 open plan sitting areas with sofas, chairs, TV/DVD/Video & Music System, along with a study area. Also on the ground floor is a guest WC and laundry room.

There are two wooden staircases leading to the first floor, one at each end of the house. Each staircase leads to the landing/study area off which are two large bedroom suites with seating area and en-suite bathrooms. Two of the suites have super king size bed and two have twin beds. All bedrooms have exposed beams, wooden floors, are furnished to a very high standard and have lovely countryside views.

Napoleon III House Accommodation:

The house may be accessed from either side of the ground floor living space, one side having a semi-circular terrace, ideal for dining with spectacular views across to the Pyrénées. The ground floor has a sunny sitting room with large fireplace, sofa & chairs and a further sitting/TV Room. The good sized and well equipped kitchen/diner has seating for 6. There is also a shower room with separate Guest WC on this floor.

Upstairs are three bedrooms, one with king size bed and two twin bedded rooms (one of which can be placed together to make a double) and a separate family bathroom with bath/shower and separate WC.

From the central garden stone steps lead down to the infinity pool with fabulous views. There is also a large covered barn with seating ideal for outdoor summer dining. All in all a beautiful ensemble of buildings.

Footnote:

In high seasons both properties are rented together. In mid season the Napoleon III house may be rented alone. In low season and at Christmas and New Year the Napoleon III House only is available.

Christmas/New Year

The rental price for Christmas or New Year is £1,250 per week (heating extra).
